The soft body parts such as gut, nerves, and organs need strength and support to function. This support is provided by the Skelton which comprise of 206 bones. That’s a huge number. Isn’t it? Bones are majorly formed by two elements, calcium and phosphorous
absorbed with the help of vitamin D which we take via diet specially milk. So make sure to have a glass of milk along with your breakfast. Bones are connected to each other at flexible joints. The joints contain a slippery liquid, synovial fluid which works like oil to lubricate the movements.
The largest bone is the pelvis or hip bone. In fact it is made up of 6 bones jointed firmly together.
The longest bone is the femur, in the thigh. It makes up almost one quarter of the body’s total height. Now could think of some point like that the tallest person has got the longest femur bone.
The smallest bone of our body is hardly larger than a grain of rice. Such a small size of matter and a bone?? Is it correct to use the word bone for it? Whatever your answer is true; it is stirrup, present deep in the ear.
Ears and nose do not have bones inside them. Their inner supports are cartilage which is lighter and bendier than bone giving ears and nose feature of flexibility. Now give answer. Why skull of Skelton have no nose or ears?
