BLAME IT ON “DNA”

The word DNA makes you imagine something of double thread like structure twisted around each other or some kind of medical test to assure the authenticity of relationship of one with his/her parents. DNA Deoxyribonucleic acid is present in the nucleus and responsible for each and every activity of the cell. A segment of DNA of variable length is a gene. Human nucleus possess more than 30,000 genes. Gene number has been calculated till now amongst which Rice plant (Oryza sativa) has got the maximum number of genes 50,000. Bizarre!!!

It is believed that every action of cell is ordered and monitored by DNA. Hence making the nucleus , the boss of the cell.  DNA is thought to be accountable for physical features even for the intelligence too. So next time if you are not able to crack any mathematical question, don’t blame yourself. It is the DNA. How great it would be if we were able to punish it ! slap it!! Thrash it !!

DNA order the kitchen of the cell i.e the Mitochondria to make energy currencies in form of molecule ATP. These currencies you spend while you are working. Even required during thinking. Likewise you spend while you are shopping.

Any change in the DNA lead to changes in in functioning of the body. Thus changing or inserting certain specific genes could give profitable results. Thus called Genetically modified Plants and Organisms. For instance the first genetically modified plant was Tobacco plant whose DNA was altered in order to attain resistance against a bacteria.
